I have a vast job discription here At Valley surgical, I run Clinics of 8-9 patients to 30, we travel to 4 offices with the Physician encluding carrying charts & supplies when needed. We have to be very organized to run a clinic, return & retrieve phone calls, call in medications, Contact Dr with urgent messages, set up meetings, ect. Also assist in small office procedures do front & back office tasks some times we have an assist to help most times it's just me & the Physician. I schedule surgery & diagnostic tests, authorize them call patients to notifiy of appointments made. Code CPT & DX each case and do Hospital consult charges & hospital list. And more...

Really nothing just do what they tell you and how they tell you to do so.

The most challenging would definitley be handeling customer disputes. In today's economy, many people are finding themselves in financial binds. This rapid decline in the economy, causes many people to become frustrated and impatient. At Chase, we handle clients from all walks of life. Regularly, I would have to negotiate with the clients while respecting company policies to try and reach a neutral resolution where neither the customer or the company were at a loss. This was most difficult when we were understaffed and had a high volume of transactions to process. Finding a balance of helping the customer with their financial concerns and providing prompt service to others at the same time was extremely challenging. The key to overcoming this, was to develop a system in which multi-tasking was the key....

The children had varying degrees of mental and/or physical impairment. Understanding their afflictions and the appropriate responses to their behavior was a little challenging at first. However, once I realized what was causing or what had triggered an outburst, it was easy to calm the child down and maintain their safety....

The most challenging aspect for me there was that I was constantly busy. I loved it and consider it more of a satisfaction after completing a hard days work. I am always up for a challenge. I rarely get discouraged. I go head
on under stressful situations.

Dealing with very rude customers. I was trained that we are not to argue or hang up on callers. If you got caught hanging up on callers then it was automatic termination. So I would politley tell the customer to please hold while I tranfer them to our service assistant.

Well, we often had clients that wanted a certain type of advertisement but didn't know how they wanted to create it and there would be a lot going back and forth between clients and designers to try to find a solution. Keeping all parties positive and moving toward forward could be challenging.

Children and babies. It breaks your heart to see a child or baby cry. However comforting them is the best way to handle children.
