I helped set up user accounts, printers, and installed software for users at a small satellite site
I diagnosed OEM factory returns to find the root cause of the defect using 5 why methodology.
I administered all of the facility's controlled documents.

Design, model, and detail various areas of Large Mining machines. I have done hydraulics routings, structural and light fabrications design. Having a welding and manufacturing background I am also able to mentor new engineers on their design as to manufacturability.

Development of new data acquisition programs using C++ technology.
* Worked with various engineers/teams in helping management of test priority, development of engine test (scenarios) through proprietary data acquisition programs, and aids with the execution of engine testing.
* Well versed in 2007 engine theories as well as the newest diesel technologies.
* Help develop testing procedures for new 2007 low-sulfur diesel engines.
* Standardization of engine testing procedures across the entire Global Engine Development-North America. Result is flexibility/reliability of testing across entire engine models, increased productivity, and higher engine production output with stable results.
* Responsible in helping to produce one of the highest profitable years ever for engine sales in Caterpillar history....

I worked in the Non-Destructive Evaluation group doing anything that needed to be done. Conducted NDE on a variety of components and made reports on each.

In this entry level position, I was exposed to many parts of the company. I settled in engineering doing research for the material handling division.
