I cased up my route accordingly to be delivered on the street. I then pulled down mail and loaded a 1/2 ton truck for delivery. I dealt with the public on a daily basis in delivering the mail. I also kept change of addresses up to date on my route in office and forwarded mail accordingly.

Started out as a clerk/carrier in a small office, sorted mail, deliver mail, learned the manual forwarding system of the mail, was a window clerk, learning a great deal about customer service. Learned the time keeping system, the bookkeeping system and how to handle clients. I then switched positions to a custodial job in order to be first in line for the Maintenance Support Admin clerk position. Once I obtained that position, I learned the in-house computer software, tool and parts, inventory, receiving, ordering, once again customer service. The list is endless as to what I learned and/or wanted to learn about the business....
