(English Program in Korea)
EPIK Program of the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, invites responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers to gain experience while sharing knowledge and culture with students and teachers in Korea. Successful applicants conduct English conversation classes for Korean primary and secondary public school students.
Applicants must:
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Be a citizen from a country where the primary language is English
- Be fluent and proficient in the English language. (*Korean fluency is not required.)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with or jointly conducting English classes with a Korean co-teacher
- Conducting English conversation classes for Korean students and teachers
- Preparing teaching materials and activities for English language education
- Assisting with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities

Contract Period
- March 2010 placement: Feb. 26, 2010~Feb.25, 2011
