Inside Sales Representative for a well respected Education Markets sales organization. Their recent growth has been remarkable in excess of 30% compounded annually. Over the past decade they've transitioned into a nationally recognized organization offering creative programs in the Education Markets. A fantastic Venture Capital backed opportunity for a recent college graduate with a few years of business experience. Anticipated total compensation is between 50 - 70K. At this time we are only considering local candidates to the Fairfield, CT area
Job Requirements -
* 2+ years of solution sales experience
* 2+ years of customer service
* Have played a team sport or be club member in High School or College
* Proven track record in exceeding expectations
* Proven track record in top notch customer service resulting in high customer satisfaction levels
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Effectively analyze and monitor data to meet demands for clients
* 4 year College degree required - we'll be reviewing transcripts
Required Job Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Communication: Applicant must have developed communication skills both spoken and written. Able to listen and get clarification when needed. Speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations.
* Customer Service: Must enjoy working with customers, able to manage difficult customer objections. Be an active listener to customers' inquiries and concerns and respond promptly to customer needs. Have a desire to become a partner in providing a solution to customers' needs.
* Inside Sales (not Telemarketing) skills: Strong sales and negotiation aptitude needed. Must be able to follow through and both help close the sale and meet set goals.
* Adaptability: Able to adapt to frequent changes, delays, demands or unexpected events and still yield an effective outcome. Adapt to changes in the work environment - be flexible and able to multi-task.
* Initiative: Offer or ask for help when needed. Take independent actions to achieve goals and complete tasks. Accept accountability for decisions by ensuring follow through and effective implementation.
* Must be detail oriented, self motivated and organized.
* Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
* Must have intermediate skill levels in Excel and Word (including mail merges). Microsoft Access a plus.
* Able to become proficient in windows based software
This is a full time opportunity with benefits in Fairfield County. Salary is commensurate with experience with a base plus bonus and full time benefits
