As a critical care nurse and Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, you can enhance your nursing career while enriching your life. You'll be able to work in your community and serve when needed. In our collaborative health care organization, you'll come to know the pride that comes with serving your country and providing excellent nursing care to our Soldiers and their Families
Benefits include:
- Special Pay of $37,500 ($12,500 per year for three years) for nurses with their BSN
- Up to $50,000 for nursing school loans through the Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
- Paid continuing education
- Travel opportunities, including humanitarian missions
- Low-cost life and dental insurance
- Non-contributory retirement benefits at age 60 with 20 years of qualifying service
- Networking opportunities
- Commissary and post exchange shopping privileges
- Flexible, portable retirement savings and investment plan similar to a 401(k)
- Privileges that come with being an Officer in the U.S. Army
- Training to become a leader in your field
Requirements include:
- Associate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or accepted by the U.S. Secretary of Education

- Current, valid and unrestricted nursing license
