Job Duties: Completion of insurance verifications; review scanned images for documents required by insurance carriers for claim reimbursement; extensive follow-up of documents & forms, claims reimbursement, claims denials, appeals, etc.; respond to client phone calls regarding A/R inquiries; contact referrals and physicians to request information required for reimbursement; knowledge of insurance carriers requirements/criteria to determine coverage & reimbursement; process prior authorization requests; manage A/R Aging Report to maintain low DSO; back-up customer service as needed.
Requirements: One year experience in the following: ECS, customer service, direct contact with physician staff, knowledge of insurance carriers requirements/criteria, processing prior authorization requests, collection of past due insurance claims

Reports to: Executive Director
Based at: MRC Seattle HQ
The Payments Program Manager will focus on Payment and Security Risk issues as it pertains to e-Commerce retailers. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
* Facilitating merchant-led committees including conducting background research and recruiting members to support the committees' objectives
* Acting as a liaison between various MRC constituents (merchants, card brands, acquirers and issuers) to develop, promote and execute industry changing advocacy initiatives
* Create and execute project plans for various payments related initiatives
* Coordinate the creation of industry- related content for MRC conference sessions, online learning and speeches at other conferences
* Provide excellent customer service to members answering their questions promptly or assisting them in finding the relevant industry information needed
* Develop ongoing industry wide payment specific surveys and partner with other organizations on issues such as cost of payments, appropriate applications of payment solutions and consumer choice trends
* Monitor and report on industry trends affecting merchants' choices in payment solutions, such as payment system rules, alternative payment options, impact to online merchants and consumer preferences
* Actively participate in the development of the long term strategic goals of the MRC, along with support to the board and Executive Director
* Create or facilitate the creation of industry white papers and position these technical communications on the MRC website
Other Duties
* Active participation and leadership in MRC events. Some overnight travel required
* Provide backup support to other staff members as needed
* Other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Director
* Attend and participate in industry conferences and events
Position Requirements
* Relevant education and Payment Industry experience focusing on: Fraud Risk, Security Risk and Global Payments
* Knowledge or experience in e-Commerce retail systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Project management experience
* Experience with leading committees of volunteers
* Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially experience with PowerPoint version 2007 or higher

Ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of wood frame and concrete structures with experience in design and failure/damage analysis, condition assessments, building codes, construction best practice and design for commerical and residential buildings.
The candidate must be willing and able to roll up sleeves to perform hands-on investigations. Approximately half the time is spent on field investigations with the majority of the balance in the office writing reports & performing project coordination. Clients primarily include insurance companies, attorneys, property owners and property managers. Arbitration and/or expert witness experience is a plus.
Candidate must be willing to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Candidate must be able to coordinate and /or work with mutiple other employees in a variety of technical fields
Candidate must be a self starter with ability to market services to potential clients. Previous business development experince is a plus
Candidate must have excellent customer service, communication and project management skills. Candidate must be able to accurately and efficiently communicate findings verbally and by written report. Candidate must be able to work effectively with the insurance and legal communities. Some travel required, primarily within the state hired and occasionally throughout the US as needed
