Inside Sales Representative for a well respected Education Markets sales organization. Their recent growth has been remarkable in excess of 30% compounded annually. Over the past decade they've transitioned into a nationally recognized organization offering creative programs in the Education Markets. A fantastic Venture Capital backed opportunity for a recent college graduate with a few years of business experience. Anticipated total compensation is between 50 - 70K. At this time we are only considering local candidates to the Fairfield, CT area
Job Requirements -
* 2+ years of solution sales experience
* 2+ years of customer service
* Have played a team sport or be club member in High School or College
* Proven track record in exceeding expectations
* Proven track record in top notch customer service resulting in high customer satisfaction levels
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Effectively analyze and monitor data to meet demands for clients
* 4 year College degree required - we'll be reviewing transcripts
Required Job Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Communication: Applicant must have developed communication skills both spoken and written. Able to listen and get clarification when needed. Speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations.
* Customer Service: Must enjoy working with customers, able to manage difficult customer objections. Be an active listener to customers' inquiries and concerns and respond promptly to customer needs. Have a desire to become a partner in providing a solution to customers' needs.
* Inside Sales (not Telemarketing) skills: Strong sales and negotiation aptitude needed. Must be able to follow through and both help close the sale and meet set goals.
* Adaptability: Able to adapt to frequent changes, delays, demands or unexpected events and still yield an effective outcome. Adapt to changes in the work environment - be flexible and able to multi-task.
* Initiative: Offer or ask for help when needed. Take independent actions to achieve goals and complete tasks. Accept accountability for decisions by ensuring follow through and effective implementation.
* Must be detail oriented, self motivated and organized.
* Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
* Must have intermediate skill levels in Excel and Word (including mail merges). Microsoft Access a plus.
* Able to become proficient in windows based software

Next Jump is looking to hire an Associate PR Copywriter eager to play a leading role in all writing and language tasks relevant to the organization's PR efforts. This will include marketing and advertising campaigns as well as product branding initiatives. The successful candidate will have the ability write in a number of styles and platforms including: sales literature, editorial, media advisories, press releases, articles, advertisements, direct mail, letters, newsletters, posters and online genres (websites, blogs, social media sites etc.)
Responsibilities:
* Write compelling, effective copy and ensure that the appropriate style of written or verbal communication is used (presentation vs. detailing vs. narrative copy)
* The ability to help devise media strategies and pitch stories
* Responsible for external communication programs and initiatives
* Prepare press releases, coordinate national and regional press announcements and respond to media inquiries from press and industry analysts
* Support internal communication efforts
Requirements:
* Work independently and easily within a team environment with ability to meet tight deadlines
* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism + Creative Writing, Business, Marketing or Sales
* Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in fast-paced, dynamic Marketing or Advertising environment
* Experience pitching news to media with proven track record of events and news coverage
* Company branding experience
* Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
* Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign
* Requires very strong collaboration skills as the person in this role will be required to work closely with colleagues, clients, and management
* Knowledge / Experience with internet technologies and e-commerce a plus
