Electrical Engineer Medical Industry
Reporting to the Medical NPD Engineering Manager you will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex parts and control systems (including embedded control systems) to applicable standards as a member of a design team, and also independently on smaller projects. More complex work will follow based on demonstrated abilities
Additional duties include:
*P C board level design work
*Develop control and component test specifications
*Involved in daily decisions and/or providing technical data for decisions that impact compliance with design specifications
*Actively involved in all phases of the design, analysis of design, testing of design, and qualification of the design for production and sale to the public
*Participate on project teams, lead project teams, and direct the activities of other team members
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years work experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar capacity; or graduate level education providing equivalent capabilities. Also necessary: PC board design (printed circuitry) experience with embedded software and motor control (brushed DC and brushless DC) experience
