Reports to: Executive Director
Based at: MRC Seattle HQ
The Payments Program Manager will focus on Payment and Security Risk issues as it pertains to e-Commerce retailers. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
* Facilitating merchant-led committees including conducting background research and recruiting members to support the committees' objectives
* Acting as a liaison between various MRC constituents (merchants, card brands, acquirers and issuers) to develop, promote and execute industry changing advocacy initiatives
* Create and execute project plans for various payments related initiatives
* Coordinate the creation of industry- related content for MRC conference sessions, online learning and speeches at other conferences
* Provide excellent customer service to members answering their questions promptly or assisting them in finding the relevant industry information needed
* Develop ongoing industry wide payment specific surveys and partner with other organizations on issues such as cost of payments, appropriate applications of payment solutions and consumer choice trends
* Monitor and report on industry trends affecting merchants' choices in payment solutions, such as payment system rules, alternative payment options, impact to online merchants and consumer preferences
* Actively participate in the development of the long term strategic goals of the MRC, along with support to the board and Executive Director
* Create or facilitate the creation of industry white papers and position these technical communications on the MRC website
Other Duties
* Active participation and leadership in MRC events. Some overnight travel required
* Provide backup support to other staff members as needed
* Other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Director
* Attend and participate in industry conferences and events
Position Requirements
* Relevant education and Payment Industry experience focusing on: Fraud Risk, Security Risk and Global Payments
* Knowledge or experience in e-Commerce retail systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Project management experience
* Experience with leading committees of volunteers
* Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially experience with PowerPoint version 2007 or higher

RESERVE PREVENTIVE MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

As a preventive medicine Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, your duties will include creating, implementing and overseeing programs that improve physical fitness, prevent disease and reduce injury. By practicing in your community and serving when needed, you'll feel proud of your service and the impact it can make on our Soldiers and their Families
Benefits include:
- Health Professional Special Pay of $75,000 for eligible specialties, paid in three yearly increments of $25,000
- Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment (HPLR) of up to $50,000 over three years; may be applied toward qualified medical school loans
