When we set about determining the ideal characteristics in a candidate, we distilled the description to: Smart, Creative and Aggressive. In other words, we are looking for sales people (1) intelligent enough to quickly learn about data centers, telecommunications and our sales process, (2) creative enough to develop successful sales strategies and (3) tenacious enough to be a driving advocate of and recruiter for our facilities and services
As a Sales Representative with our company in the high tech field of data centers, your duties and responsibilities would be as follows:
* Calling on existing accounts for updates, new leads and new requirements.
* Creating new leads and customer contacts
* Booking tours for potential customers to come tour our top of the line facility
* Planning and organizing daily work schedule
* Adjusting content of sales presentations by studying the developing trends in the industry
* Assisting in the planning and preparation for network marketing events
* Submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and hot activity sheets
* Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
* Developing professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks
* Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
