ACTIVE NUCLEAR MEDICINE SCIENTIST
Your research could make an important impact on the lives of Soldiers and their Families. When you become a nuclear medicine scientist and Officer on the U.S. Army Health Care Team, your work could lead to scientific discoveries that improve our Soldiers' health and the environments in which they work

RESERVE NUCLEAR MEDICINE SCIENTIST
You can conduct important nuclear medicine research while enhancing your career. Purpose of Role: The Mars Veterinary Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of consumer marketing and trade programming for the portfolio of Mars Veterinary products. This position plays a key role in achieving the brand's growth and profit plans.
This person will be responsible for delivering both the annual and long term marketing plans. This includes the development of brand strategies and plans, including new innovation concepts, packaging, consumer communications, sales materials, and in-market programs for field sales. The successful candidate will have a broad breadth of marketing skills and experience. The candidate is a strong team player, influencer, and results-oriented individual. He / She will work closely with internal (R&D, Supply, Commercial, Sales, S&F, Corporate Affairs) and external (Advertising, Promotion, Direct) groups to develop and execute the marketing plans.
Principal Accountabilities
Under the direction of the General Manager:
- Develop marketing plan and assume leadership of cross-functional teams and agency resources to deliver plan growth and profit objectives
- Manage marketing research and consumer insights
- Objectively assess marketplace and business conditions to develop and implement long-term strategic plan
- Establish innovative marketing plans, including the construction of integrated brand communication programs to include trade promotion, consumer promotion, and social media / PR (in conjunction with VP Corporate Affairs)
- Represent the marketing function for project execution meetings to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery of activities
- Active member of management team that drives business strategy
- Writes and edits communication materials, translating technical science concepts to understandable levels for audience target populations.
- Develops and leverages relationships with scientists, organizations and key media personnel for the benefit of the company
- Develops all sales and collaborative materials.
- In conjunction with VP of Corporate Affairs, develops and executes social media strategy to include web site(s), Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Develops draft advertising text and layouts as part of campaign materials and presents to GM for review and approval.
- Manage the communication campaigns surrounding internal associate engagement strategy
- Other special projects as assigned by General Manager or President

Key Experiences
- Minimum 7 years experience as a brand or marketing manager within the consumer packaged goods, animal health, and / or pharmaceutical industries
- Knowledge and understanding of the workings of Public Relations and Social Media as part of the marketing function
Desired Education
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- MBA and / or M.S. in marketing or advertising preferred.
