NYU seeks a developer to join its Digital Library group of 10-15 people that work in close collaboration with the University's enterprise IT infrastructure staff.

Our applications deal with large media collections, new models of publishing and delivery (e.g. mobile), research in long-term digital preservation, and the building of new social frameworks in a research university setting. All IT services at NYU operate in a global context because we have operations in most time zones.

Responsibilities:
- Create or modify scalable and interoperable sites and services;
- Integrate existing services with each other, sometimes across multiple platforms and among multiple data models;
- Coordinate & participate with graphic designers on UI/UX.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of website interface development, including at least 1 year of Drupal required;
- Bachelor's degree and or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- MVC web app development on eg RoR, JSP, Perl/CGI;
- Unix/svn development environment exposure.
- Services-oriented architectures, demonstrated exposure, preferred;
