Activities Assistant
Grande Village, Twinsburg OH

Excellent opportunity to work with our residents and ensure programs and activities are meeting and exceeding needs! The idea candidate will possess a HS diploma (or equivalent), knowledge of the practical application of recreation service programs, and a valid driver's license. Certification is a plus.

Duties will include:
* Facilitate group and individual programs
* Maintain accurate documentation
* Updating and improving unsuccessful or cancelled programs
* Encourage residents to attend activities while maintaining the right of each resident to decline
* Assist in transporting residents to and from activities
* Work with volunteers and assist in their recruitment, orientation, training, communicating and recognition of volunteers.
* Comply with state and federal regulations and facility policies regarding recreation programs
* Observe infection control procedures related to the recreation program
* Follow OSHA regulations as they pertain to the Activities Department
