Job Description:
Account Executive | Business Development | Field Sales

Position Summary:

The Account Executive will identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing opportunities. The role requires an ability to quickly understand new technologies and business models and be able to evaluate their relevance to the company's vision. Likewise, the Account Exec will be expected to generate his/her own ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective customer strengths to drive substantive, additional benefit to the company and customer.

Responsibilities:

* Develop account plans for key accounts and partners to generate strategic relationships that result in sales within territory
* Conduct daily inside and on-site sales with customers, following company's sales process, including generating and qualifying leads, assessing opportunities, and proposing and closing sales contracts
* Meet or exceed monthly sales quota
* Report weekly forecast and customer sales
* Maintain established metrics to analyze and track performance
* Manage day-to-day relationships with strategic partners and develop a deep understanding of their offering and long-term business strategies
* Generate prospects/leads through cold calling and other prospecting

Requirements:

* 3+ years recent and relevant experience in a sales position
* BA/BS in business or related field
* Position requires confidence and experience in a customer facing role, preferably using business-to-business consultative selling with professional organizations
* Extensive cold calling experience
* Excellent presentation/communication/influencing/negotiating skills, both written and verbal (specifically over the phone) required
* Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
* Professional presentation skills
