JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible activities associated with the preparation of the Company Annual Plan. 
• Organizes information from a variety of sources to establish data banks for use in analyzing and creating future plans and forecasts.
• Develops systems and procedures to measure budget performance, provides interpretation, and analysis of budget reports, directs the preparation of a variety of financial data and reports.
• Prepares and presents reports and findings and recommendations to management.
• May provide functional and technical direction to other financial staff members Coordination and preparation of annual budget for the corporation. Preparation and maintenance of company cash forecasting, including forecasting for inventory purchases and cash collections. Analysis of monthly budget to actual and forecast to actual results, including explanation of significant variances.
• Interface with Vice Presidents of Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Sales providing comprehensive financial and sales forecasting packages and information. Competitive trend analysis of industry key indicators.
• Responsible for Company risk management.
• Coordination and preparation of annual budget for the corporation.

• Analysis of monthly budget to actual and forecast to actual results, including explanation of significant variances.

BACKGROUND-EDUCATION

-          MBA MUST

o        Preferably MBA in Finance or Corporate Finance, ideally from a top school

o        Degree in economics, accounting or finance –      >3.5 GPA

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and CAPABILITIES

-          Minimum 8 years of work experience in multinational companies and ideally  >$1 billion

-          Distribution experience strongly preferred

-          At least 5 years experience in strategic planning, finance support for commercial activities, divisional budgeting and forecasting, operational analysis

-          Demonstrable experience in building strong relationship with a diverse group of stakeholders

-          Strategic thinking

-          Knowledge of a major ERP system such as SAP, Cognos, Oracle, or Hyperion is highly desired.  HFM implementation experience a huge plus as well.

-          Experience in master data management projects
