John Deere Credit in Johnston,
Iowa is looking for a Claims Analyst.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform loss adjustment
activities including coordination of reported losses for states
John Deere Risk Protection (JDRP) operates in.
- Audits losses and resolves or
refers customer problems to claims staff, John Deere Dealers or
John Deere General agents.
- Serves as a resource for
Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) & private crop insurance
loss procedures and industry updates.
- Enters, tracks and coordinates
loss adjustment expenses (LAE) and tracks adjuster's proficiency
and coordinates final payment of claims with
administration.
- Manages the daily processing of claims in assigned territories. This includes approval on all uploaded claims,
correction of edits, audit of claims packets, audit of proper sign-off levels, and all types of claim reviews.
- Serves as an expert resource for all field staff on Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) and private product
insurance regarding loss adjustment procedures, industry updates and Deere channel processes.
- Provides technical expertise for all loss related software and internet programs to the related channels inside
and outside of John Deere Risk Protection (JDRP). Works with Information Technology (IT) on requested
updates to the automated claims entry system (ACES).
- Assists in resolving claims disputes with John Deere Risk Protection (JDRP) management, Insurance Specialists,
field staff and Deere channel partners.
- Tracks and reviews loss adjustment expenses (LAE) to verify accuracy and limit expenses to the present
mandates.
- Tracks and audits adjuster's proficiency to assist management in evaluating adjuster proficiency.
- Assists in the development of training and delivers claims management training to field staff.
Skills
- Knowledge of the basics of insurance statutes and regulations
within area of responsibility.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as
Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
Education
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in specialized area of insurance such
as crop, casualty, property, etc.
- Crop Insurance industry experience. Can be any combination of
adjusting, marketing, underwriting, auditing or
compliance.
