Territory Manager  

Overview:

TheTerritory Manageris responsible for establishing, promoting and maintaining a high level of sales of dermatological products for Medicis. Working within an established territory, this position serves as a sales representative to dermatologists and podiatrists providing them with product information, superior customer service and support.
Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell Medicis products to current and potential customers
  • Initiate specific courses of action to increase sales and market share for specific products
  • Communicate with customers in a clear and effective manner
  • Build internal and external relationships; establish credibility and rapport with customers
  • Organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic goals and action plans
  • Deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Possess the ability to travel and work outside of the parameters of 8am to 5pm when required; expected 4 overnight stays per month
  • Document all activities and progress
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in marketing, sales, business administration or a related field is required
  • Experience (2-4 years) in direct and/or outside sales
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly desired and will be given first consideration
  • Must have demonstrated selling skills
  • High personal motivation and a sense of urgency
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
