Our client is building a team of UX professionals that will focus on the research and analysis of emerging technologies. This is an ideal position for you if you have a strong desire to help shape and mold the future of consumer electronics and have natural ability to conduct research on future trends. The positions range from PhD level 0 years of commercial experience to MS degree with up to 5 years of experience. The company focuses on the ability of the candidate not the years of experience.
User Experience (UX) Scientist and Researcher
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis on the existing and emerging technologies and trends for usage of digital TV, mobile devices and computers etc.
Conceive, prototype, implement and verify conceptual models for user interface and access methods
Create a collaborative environment, serving as an independent contributor as well as a team member, providing technical expertise and executing research and development projects
Communicate UI requirements, best practices and guidelines to developers and designers
Perform evaluations on DTV UI
Qualifications:
Ph D preferred, in HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, or closely related discipline required
Passion and interest in the future of consumer electronics.
Very creative and interesting ideas for technology in the home.
