We have delivered systems to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and many of our Allied and Coalition partners. Our systems and personnel have supported every major conflict since our founding in 1987.


We are currently recruiting for an IAVA Engineer to join our Engineering organization in Austin, TX. We are looking for an engineer who will be responsible for supporting reporting processes, network and system assessments, and network mapping and managing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) processes.  This Engineer will also be responsible for the design, development, modification, implementation and testing of real-time software applications as well as participating in the testing process by performing unit and system level testing of applications, test result analysis and certification of software.


You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and tasks. Must be able to work independently under general supervision to perform defined tasks. Reviews project requirements, analyzes technical data, writes plans and specifications, follows coding standards and CM procedures. Experience with Linux OS. Some travel may be required.


MUST BE A US CITIZEN and hold a current (or inactive) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.


Minimum Requirements:
•Experience with IAVA, IAVM, and IAVB
•2+ years of work experience in a C/C++ object oriented software development
•Good understanding of computer architecture, and the relationships between applications
•Minimum education requirements are a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical field
US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance required


Desired Qualifications:
•2+ years of relevant system design, development and unit testing experience in C++
•Object oriented software design and development for real-time systems
•Cross-platform development in Linux/Unix and Windows
•Inter-process communications
•DOD communications standards
•Real-time application concepts
•UML diagramming
•Experience with software development compliant with the Capability Maturity Model (Integrated), Level 3 or higher
