- Continue to be responsible for all job duties listed below as Web Producer for Reading Is Fundamental.

- As self-employed consultant, responsible for managing own time and meeting deadlines while working across departments and communicating on a daily basis with RIF home office in Washington,
DC. Consistently meeting deadlines.

- Provide creative direction and feedback for development and design of new website launching on June 12. Responsible for researching multicultural content for new website; contacting external sites and requesting permission for use of content, partnership, and coming to terms on a licensing agreement.

- Troubleshoot and resolving site, sometimes communicating with non-technical people to come to terms with best resolution.

- Evaluate new web requests with team in order to determine appropriate course and timeline for implementation.

- Create reports on monthly web statistics.

- Created and implemented content and designs for www.rif.org and www.readingplanet.org, and other Marketing & External Relations projects as needed,using content management system and managing multiple deadlines. RIF averages nearly 1 million page views monthly, during my tenure was nominated for a Webby Award by the International Academy of Digital Arts.

- Assembled and distributed 7 different eNewsletters and electronic communications, segmented by the various audiences that RIF serves; including a bilingual eNewsletter, online eCampaigns, and a kids eNewsletter for the members of the RIF Reading Planet.

- Created designs for RIF Store merchandise; created marketing ads and banners for RIF Store promotions.

- Worked with Information Systems department and external vendors to manage development of new online tools, systems, and website additions.

- Performed daily website maintenance; responded to web inquires; posted user-submissions to the website.

- Assisted with promotion of the RIF website to public and internal audiences; fulfilled duties in support of other departments within the organization as needed.
- Managed large-scale Summer Reading project in partnership with Target. Responsible for providing creative direction and feedback to Target's marketing department for all printed marketing materials as well as distribution of materials. Managed the design and implementation of new online capabilities/software to run the Summer Reading program; coordinating the work of 2 outside vendors to bring the project to life. Created concept for new online game; provided creative direction and feedback for outside vendor to develop game. All the above was completed under multiple, tight deadlines and launched on time, while remaining within budget.

- One of RIF's top-evaluated employees, receiving the President's Gold Star for Customer Service in February 2006 (a monthly award for exemplary customer service) and receiving The Margaret McNamara Award for Excellence in April 2006 (a quarterly award for an inspiring attitude and belief and support of furthering RIF's mission).
