What path did you take to your current career?

I began college at the University of Delaware with a major in Anthropology. I switched my major to English after taking the required freshmen English class. I loved my teacher. He was so passionate about literature and all of its symbolism and ties to everyday life that it sparked a fire in me. I switched my major at the end of the semester and graduated with a Bachelors in English. My junior year, I realized that I also loved photography. I'd always had an interest in it, but it never occurred to me that I could make it my life. With a lot of help from my dad, I was able to go to photograph school at Antonelli Institute in Pennsylvania. There, I found out how to blend my obsession to detail with my love for photography: photo-editing. After my first year, I landed the perfect summer internship with QVC, Inc. to give me more experience with photo-editing. I love editing and I think I'm great at it. The best part about it is that I'm constantly learning new and different ways to edit. It's constantly changing and it keeps me interested.... read more
