What kind of job are you looking for?

I'd like to continue working in public relations in either an agency or corporate setting, especially on a team that suppports consumer, hospitality/travel, non-profit or sports related clients. However, I'm open to exploring other industries where my skills would be transferable. The top new career paths I'm researching include marketing/promotions, an event and meeting planner in a hotel, a manager-in-training position in retail, English, foreign language or ESL teacher/tutor and a librarian.... read more

I briefly explored the technology side of healthcare and was heavily involved in business-to-business public relations. This position gave me more opportunities to write sales/marketing pieces and coordeinated with vendors to have these designed and printed, I also worked on a direct mail campaign and assisted with media relations surrounding tradeshow opportunities.
