How would you describe your time at primerica financial services?

As part of my graduation requirement, I completed a marketing internship with Primerica Financial Services in Bloomington, IL. It gave me a sense of what being a responsible employee entails. I put to action what I learned in the classroom. Just like any other employee, I was required to dress in a professional manner and show up at the office every day. I attended meetings and training sessions on a weekly basis, and attended client appointments with a field trainer. How would you describe your time at Music promotions?

As someone who is extremely passionate about music, I do all I can to make sure the music I love gets out there to the masses. I actively work on street teams and utilize web sites such as Myspace and Facebook to put the word out there about the music I listen to. Most of the music I listen to is music no one else has ever heard of, and the artists rely on their fans to work on a grassroots level to promote their music in a widespread manner, as they don't have the backing and resources that come along with being signed to a major label. Ideally, I would like to work in the music industry as it would be fulfilling my dreams of working as a marketing professional while keeping in touch with my biggest passion. I chose to attend a community college before attending a 4-year university because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to major in. ICC allowed me to fulfill my general education requirements at a lower cost than a 4-year university and I wasn't required to choose a major right away.
