Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?
My father, first & foremost. He wanted to teach my brothers and me 2 things: to work hard and to be men of integrity. One lesson he didn't explcitly lay out to teach me, but that I picked up by being my father's son is to love life in a BIG way with humor, joy, and heartfelt appreciation for the people in my life.
But I have several-- My mom has been a continual shining example of strength, loyalty, love, and self-sacrifice.
My brother Chris was a paragon of brutal honesty and loyalty, as well.
I think I can learn something powerful from everyone.
"The wise man learns from others' mistakes. The average man learns from his own mistakes. And the fool never learns at all."...
