How would you describe your time at Joyless Films?
This was the first feature length narrative film for which I edited and mixed the sound. It premiered at Redcat Theater in downtown Los Angeles on May 1st, 2008. How would you describe your time at Phil Hodges?
I edited,designed and mixed the sound for Phil's independent short titled First Bass. The film stars Tavi Gevinson, Greg Hollimon (Strangers With Candy) and Mark Borchardt (American Movie). How would you describe your time at Kelly Parker?
Kelly Parker's documentary film South Main, for which I edited and mixed the sound, is a project that I have been working with off and on for the past year and a half. She finally completed the picture edit this past fall and it recently had its world premier at the Berlinale Film Festival in February 2008. It was also recently accepted to the BFI London and the Detroit Docs Festivals, where it will screen in October 2008. The film was shot in Los Angeles and focuses on the lives of three women living on the brink of poverty in South Central L.A. How would you describe your time at California Institute of the...?
While at CalArts, I completed a documentary feature titled Never Mind the Fences, which I directed, shot and edited both picture and sound by myself. During my time at the school, I put myself on a personalized academic track of film sound in the film school, while also branching into areas of sonic study in the art and music schools. After also working as a sound transfer technician and recording engineer for the school, I left CalArts as a semi-professional sound editor/designer and recording engineer, as well as an independent documentary filmmaker....

How would you describe your time at Alfred University, Alfred, NY?
While at Alfred University, I found that after my years in high school as an artist and musician that I enjoyed working in the mediums of video and sound the most. I made dozens of experimental videos and sound pieces before graduating and moving to California where I started my career in film.
