This was a relaxing, reactive job. It was my first contracting experience; I was pretty much on my own the whole time. Everyone was pleasant; it's too bad they fell on hard times. My next job (at Eye Street) was the opposite: very proactive.

How would you describe your time at First Consulting Group?

Although I put in quite a lot of overtime (too much), I have many good memories of FCG; mainly the people I met, several who remain close friends. This was my first job out of college and I learned quite a lot of technologies: SQL, JavaScript, Java, and ColdFusion.

Chris was quick on the uptake, studying new frameworks and providing alternate designs every day to make the application the best it could be.
