Designed manual and automated tests for networked laser printers, print drivers, installers, embedded web servers, configuration and status utilities.
Developed a suite of professional software test tools with 150+ users, using Visual Basic, Visual Test, Java, JavaScript, and Oracle database.
Led process improvement initiatives on test tools team, including design reviews, coding standards, build and release processes, support process, defect and requirements processes.
Developed tests for a new print driver installer and configuration SDK. Applied a model based testing approach to increase test coverage and find defects earlier, and increase find and fix rates, leading to improved quality on many later products.
Used TestMaster, a model based test generation tool, to automate test case development. Generated test cases for installers and print drivers that found defects on releases that escaped earlier testing....
