How would you describe your time at Ciber?

- Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring Information Technology professionals including Software Architects, Engineers, Software Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Quality/Testing and other skill groups as assigned.
- Full cycle recruitment responsibilities include:
analyzing and defining requirements, sourcing, recruiting, advertising, scheduling technical assessments (BrainBench, Previsor and consultant interviews), negotiating/closing candidates, new employment orientations and benefits review and enrollment.

Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivery of network technology initiatives and specifications to support strategic enhancements to external application interfaces for the DataInterchange product (IBM???s commercial EDI translation
software). New features and product improvements included communications technology and VAN (Value Added Network) Interfaces for the DataInterchange product through full development life cycle from requirements gathering and design through QA/test to customer support delivering major releases to satisfy client and industry
business requirements.

EDI Project Manager, Raleigh, NC (1985 - 1991)
Responsible for creating and implementing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) program for the IBM Manufacturing Facility at Research Triangle Park. Created standardized and repeatable implementation processes for the RTP manufacturing site while coordinating plans and schedules with the IBM HQ EDI Project Office. Developed and implemented vision of strategic EDI plan to support Supply Chain processes. Jointly developed requirements and schedules with the IT departments to insure timely installation of EDI translation software and integration with associated business applications. Participated in the Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) groups identifying process changes and improvements for legacy (IBM mainframe components using CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM) enabling company to implement EDI transactions conforming to ANSI X12 standards.
