How would you describe your time at TEK,Systems / Whirlpool?
As part of the Telecommunications team, I was responsible for moving phones and networking locations for individuals and groups of employees within the Whirlpool Corporation. I was in charge of 13 buildings including one facility in LaPorte Indiana. My daily tasks included picking up 13 ??? 20 work tickets a day, then reviewing my work, deciding if they are repairs, digital upgrades, fax machine, LAN printer or LAN computer setup. I was issued a company laptop which I used for the Avaya software system to change phone types, looking for available ports on the main phone switch, testing phones, changing locations, correcting cost centers and consolidating or eliminating unneeded phone cards the company was being charged for. The clarify software system I used for clearing out work tickets, adding notes, instructions, or routing to the facility group to schedule new phone or LAN jacks to be installed. I coordinated with my scheduler to order new phones, LAN cables, poloycom phones when needed and I was part of a big group move of 300 people this past winter that I received recognition for....

As part of the deep cleaning crew at Mead Johnson- Bristo Meyers. We clean and sanitize all rooms in the plant. This includes dusting, mopping, wiping down walls, and piping. We are always on call. and work on special projects, which requires diverse hours.

How would you describe your time at Manpower / Magna Donnelly?
I would use a gauging machine to make sure all gaps and dimensions meet Ford factory specifications. Also checking for imperfections, scratches, proper installation of hardware on rear windows. Collecting, entering then exporting data out. Making final judgment and coordinating whether a rejected window goes back on the line to be repaired or destroyed. I recently moved to a new work station water testing Ford F-150 manual and Power sliding windows. My responsibilities as the work station leader include, gauging, running the fully automated water testing machine, bubble testing, working with material handler and fellow employees to keep station continuously running and smoothly, reworking windows and keeping accurate record on paper work of hourly and total counts of scrap, good windows, fixed windows, and total yield for the day....

How would you describe your time at self employed contractor?
I was my own man installing ceramic tile, marble and granite in various parts of a house including foyers, kitchens, baths, etc... Involvement which includes: bidding jobs, designing specific layouts according to customer preference. The ability to comply with customer needs, concerns and unexpected project changes while working towards the completion of a job. Tile setting includes: floor prep work, cutting and making specific measurements of materials, keeping tiles flat and level during installation, grouting and managing own time. Always completing a job in a timely manner and meeting completion goals according to how the builder has it scheduled....

How would you describe your time at charter communications?
I loved it there installing new customers and advanced equipment such as cable modems, digital receivers, routers, etc... Disconnecting customers, collection of non payments, trouble shooting cable drops to the home and inside lines. Performing various duties when systems fail or system has an outage, maintenance of cable lines, splitters, etc... Using various types of equipment to maintain the proper working order of the cable system, including the use of meters, computers, line locators, voltage testers etc... Drawing up cable system extensions for new customers, sales of advanced equipment, scheduling of installations, checking serviceability and then drawing up extensions or new customer builds. Routing work for technicians in office and training. Filling out various work and order forms. Ordering parts and tools, stocking and maintaining the maintenance of my work vehicle....

Good experience!! I liked that campus life felt important. I had full loads of credit hours every semester. I mainly worked on my under grad courses.
