I am an experienced, self-motivated and bilingual professional with a proven track record in the music & entertainment business, corporate advertising, television production, public relations and business development.
I most recently have been under contract as part of the Special Events Department for Univision Networks. While in this production role, our team has produced the Premios Lo Nuestro 2007 in February as well as the hit, primetime television series, "Nuestra Belleza Latina". In the more recent months, our department was responsible for the complete coordination, production and execution of the successful Premios Juventud 2007 & the Latin Grammy Tribute to Mexican singing legend, Marco Antonio Solis.
In 2006, I served as the Director of Corporate Sales & Special Events at the Pawn Shop Lounge & Boutique here in Miami where I was responsible for all revenue generated during off peak hours. During this time, I served as lead media liaison to the corporate community looking for a special event venue and was able to establish a hard-earned network of industry contacts including work with ABC, NBC, Univision, Telemundo, Sony BMG, EMI, Universal, MTV, mun2, Venevision, Televisa & Estefan Enterprises as well as an incredible array of local, national and international recording acts. Furthermore, I served as a consultant with the Puertorican record label, New Era Entertainment. While working as a Sr. Project Manager, I served in a variety of roles ranging from the marketing & public relations point person, to special events production & coordination.
From 2003 to 2006 I was the Director of Sales & Marketing for a boutique ad agency in Orlando named Dream Factory Productions. As part of the Universal Studios Florida Production Group, we quickly grew from a small production company into a one-stop-shop agency with a focus on creative and integrated media services ad campaigns. With the successful launch of these initiatives, I spearheaded a team that was responsible for a 417% increase in YTY revenue for 2004.
With this experience in the entertainment & music business, television production, corporate sales & advertising, and business development for over 5 years, I feel my background to be highly suited to filling a great opportunity with your organization in the industry....
