Truth or Consequences is a very small town in New Mexico. Here, my administrative duties included coordinating state and local testing, developing and implementing essential local curriculums, as well as special education issues. Administered discipline related procedures. Coordinated America???s Choice school improvement program for the school. Updated documents and translated policies. Assisted with training and evaluating all employees. Utilized data to develop and monitor improved academic achievement. Assisted principal with supervisory responsibilities in accordance with district policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Revised and implemented a safe school program. Recruited to serve as the chief administrator for several schools on the Navajo Nation and eventually employed solely by the Borrego Pass School. Provided the turnaround leadership for an LEA in Restructuring II. Researched and wrote resolutions, position papers, and policy briefs for the Navajo Nation. Collaborated with Governing Board and Directors to drastically improve the school and attain the new vision. Responsible for evaluation, revamping, and monitoring all educational and operational programs including: Academic, Human Resources, Business Management, Facilities Maintenance and Security, Food Services, and Transportation programs.
