How would you describe your time at Ford Motor Company?

Managed daily logistical operations of stamping facility, with 2 Large Schuler Presses and roll form operation of 100 employees working 3 shifts and 7 days a week, with volume of 50-65 thousand hits per press. Oversaw inventory control, shipping, receiving, scheduling, traffic and pre-production. Sole parts control person in stamping facility, handling all logistical aspects for a 6-day shift crew operating system.
??? During major breakdown of Schuler press, offloaded 60 % of volume, shipped out all racks and dies to 4 separate plants, and coordinated all orders, releases and return of equipment. As a result, customers incurred no major downtime during 2-month breakdown period.
??? Handled plant inventories of finished goods and raw materials; tracked inventory to comply with accounting guidelines. Reduced inventory on hand from 6-8 days down to 4 days in 1 year.
??? Maintained 100% delivery performance to Ford U.S. and Canadian Customer Service for 2 straight years ??? compared to previous 50-80% performance.
??? Oversaw seamless bodyside change to Explorer program for 2 separate assembly plants with zero obsolescence, using the same parts.
??? Increased volume by 27% without adding inventory to the plant, while retaining 4 day on hand supply.
??? Incurred no premium freight charges while supplying 5 separate assembly plants for 3 years.
??? Successfully managed greater work load, with 30% more Purchase parts and 27 % increase on end item parts, without incurring overtime.
??? Reduced scrap costs by $250K by improving the scrap reporting system.
??? While SMF coordinator, plant???s Ford Production System score improved to 4.6 from 3.6 (goal was 4.0).
??? As transportation coordinator, worked with local plant switching, CSXT railroad, customers, trucking companies and Regional Traffic Manager to establish shipping lanes, frequency, and product loads.
