How would you describe your time at Montana Grille?

I work all line positions as a senior associate. The positions of the kitchen include an open wood fire grill. A suatee and fry station. Then the front side consists of salads, coordinator, and back up coordinator. I am also Montana Grille's trainer for the line crew. I am considered an associate who has seniority and the responsibility of the line is entrusted to me whenever a kitchen manager is not on the clock. This is usually after the dinner business decline, at which point the line crew breaks down all equipment and food products. I am responsible for making sure the crew does everything required to properly close the kitchen down. Montana Grille's last health department check up (08/2007)was a 97%. I have been told by several other associates they really appreciate my ability to remain gracious and professional under any amount of stress.... read more

How would you describe your time at Iron Skillet?

I was responsible for much of the crew supervision so the Chef and Sioux Chef could concentrate on menu and food design. My position was that of senior cook. Every day we would come into three new evening dinner specials. Mainly the grill was my position, but the condition of the walk-in cooler and all line equipment was my responsibility to maintain. The Iron Skillet also never had less than an 85% on any Health Department inspections. The Iron Skillet was the restaurant I enjoyed working at the most because we were encouraged to be inventive and inspired. Creativity and ingenuity was embraced on a daily basis.... read more

How would you describe your time at western kentucky university?

Even though I graduated with a business science degree in general management I went to college with the idea in mind I would experience all three possible careers I could want to do in my life. The first was in the fields of sciences. From my physics classes I came to comprehend the building and interpretations of graphs. The second was fine arts specifically graphic design. Classes taken included; 2d and 3d-design, color concepts, and typography. Typography deals directly with letters and the artistic layout of information to further assist the communication process. From my art classes I am also proficient with several graphic media programs such as Adobe Photoshop. Wheel throwing ceramics (pottery)is the other art form I perform at a collegiate level. The third field is what really grabbed me, the fields of business. Upon entering the school of business at Western Kentucky University I found my place. I made the Dean's list multiple times and am proud of the many projects which can be seen in my portfolio cd-rom. During my years in the college of business I covered all areas of business;
finance, entrepreneurship, investing, accounting (including tax accounting), economics, statistics, human resources, consumer behavior, marketing,quantitative data modeling, organizational behavior, business writing, speaking, and communication . I feel confident in my abilities to communicate on a collegiate level, and hold my self to a high level of professionalism in all my endeavors.
