Author of various programs related to building codes including:

- IDS NYCODE, an expert system relating to the former N.Y. State Uniform Fire Protection and Building Code,

- pcTRAQ, a permits tracking system for towns,

- and autoBOOK, a general purpose hypertext system optimized for
codified documents like building codes.

Turbo Pascal, Delphi and Intel assembly language. The above projects were written in these.

In-house Windows and hardware technical support.

I should point out that we were a small firm and so I was the first line of defense for telephone technical support as well as being the sole developer of our software. I am very proficient at walking customers through multiple steps to fix or diagnose problems over the telephone.

Assembly of construction bid/specifications documents from raw notes from architects and engineers, plus tracking the progress of AES projects at the various SUNY campuses. There was also some specialized programming and technical support rendered to secretarial personnel.

Besides my Slavic studies, I learned to program in Pascal under the UCSD p-System on early Terak microcomputers and taught others to use the machines. I attended SUNY's graduate exchange with Moscow State University.
