What path did you take to your current career?

Within seven months, I was promoted to Sr. Development Manager and led the Finance Systems group, within the 401(k) business, and had responsibility for financial reporting, client billing, and sales commission systems. I was promoted to Director, took on additional responsibility, and championed the use of data marts and business intelligence solutions. I was promoted to Vice President after successfully leading a major effort to replace a $1 billion Client Billing system with a new billing application, which significantly reduced invoice cycle time and improved cash flow.
After many years of addressing the strategic and tactical needs of the Finance organization, I decided to broaden my Fidelity experience and accepted responsibility for the Integrated Applications Development group, delivering cutting edge enterprise web services and B2B integration solutions. Additionally, I led a large scale effort to evaluate, select, and implement an industry leading learning management system (Saba) utilized by 240,000 participants....
