I loved this job so much that I stayed long past its ability to support me financially. I like to think that I received my "informal education" here; working in a bookshop, you learn about all subjects. Here is also where I learned how much I enjoy helping people, and in the laid-back used bookshop atmosphere my customer service skills were first able to grow and develop. I have had the honor of working with renowned writers Susan Straight, Dwight Yates, Michael Jaime-Becerra and Andrew Winer, as well as with artists John Divola, Erika Suderberg and Amir Zaki. I have become proficient in the use of Photoshop as well as other aspects of digital imaging such as inkjet printing.
