Manage all aspects of 45,000 square foot Charlotte District Distribution Center with $850K budget. Responsibilities in transportation, operations, distribution, inventory, and general manager roles. Provide leadership to sixteen salaried and waged employees. Average weekly distribution of 4115 pieces. Insure accuracy of $1.5M of District inventory. Negotiate and manage third party contracts. Develop daily delivery schedule to insure efficient transportation routing. Balance manpower to workload needs. Recruit, interview and promote prospective candidates. Provide employee reviews all direct reports, annually. Counsel and re-train employee shortcomings. Insure DOT, OSHA compliance. Strong focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction.

Manage all aspects of multiple shifts in dual cost centers: HR, QA, Leadership, Financial (including budgeting), Sanitation, Safety and Productivity of 415,000 square foot Perishable and Frozen Foods Warehouses which
maintains an average monthly inventory of 455,657 cases ($10,503,364) and ships/receives an average of 3,494,728 cases monthly. Interview potential Team members for placement. Assure Warehouse compliance with safety, proper sanitation levels, production standards and accuracy. Provide support, Interpret HR policies and procedures, provide leadership, training and Annual Reviews for 6 exempt Managers and 63 hourly Associates. Develop, manage and meet budget, forecast merchandise and labor needs. Chairman of the Northern Division Shrink Committee, an active member of the Safety Committee and served as the Logistics Officer on the Incident Response Team.
* Increased Productivity (pieces/man hour) from an average of 113 to 119 per period (+5.31%) while simultaneously decreasing Overtime (-2.01%) and streamlining manpower (-15.38% of staff).
* Maintain a 99.73% Shipping Accuracy rating.

Strong emphasis on quality control, strict bookkeeping, verifies all items stored at location(s) and insure proper date rotation of inventory. Insure compliance with frequency of cycle counts, empty reserve verifications, expiration date verification, inbound pick slot assignment. Insure appropriate quantities have been received, Sort and return damaged product, insure accurate dating of merchandise and return close dated or out of date merchandise. Work closely with security to move outside drivers onto appropriate doors and insure efficient unloading times. Mediate and delegate third party Contractors to serve transporting/delivery party while serving the needs of the Company. Manage out-of-stock reports so buyers are aware of possible inventory discrepancies. Average Distribution volume of 1,377,622 bases per month. Directly manage overall activities of 50+ associates (lean) in all facets of the operation. Monitor, trend and track, and compensate (incentive) all production associates. Verify, correct and submit weekly Payroll. Direct third party auditing Company (LMS) to insure shipping accuracy
