How would you describe your time at Freelance / Self employed?
I really enjoy working in the camera department. I have learned so much in a very short amount of time. However, most of my experience so far has been in Reality TV. I prefer the structured nature of scripted productions and look forward to gaining more experience in that area.

It's had it's up and downs. When I am working, I love it because I love being on set. When I'm not working, I get stressed out about my financial security.

How would you describe your time at Shout! Factory?
I gained a great deal of experience with Microsoft Office applications as well managing production related documents such as purchase orders and production schedules. My Supervisors and co-workers were both fun and professional. On the down side, after being there for six months, it became clear that there was very little room for career advancement....

How would you describe your time at Dattner, Dispoto & Associates?
I gained a basic knowledge of File Maker Pro software and became proficient at using multiple shipping and receiving platforms; FedEX, UPS, USPS. I definitely learned a lot about what it means to be a liaison between several departments and vendors. My supervisors and co-workers were kind and a pleasure to work with. However, after six months, It became clear that there was no room for growth and that I wasn't going to acquire any new skills....

How would you describe your time at UCLA Extension - Entertainm...?
Through a variety of hands-on exercises and training sessions, participants learn the operation of Panavision, Arriflex, and other common 35mm cameras. Participants learn to "build" these cameras, load the magazines, and thread cameras. Students shoot 35mm footage in camera tests to better demonstrate essential concepts, such as camera ramping, shutter angle, high-speed imaging, and various situations where exposure needs to be calculated....
