How would you describe your time at Freelance / Self employed?

I really enjoy working in the camera department. I have learned so much in a very short amount of time. However, most of my experience so far has been in Reality TV. I prefer the structured nature of scripted productions and look forward to gaining more experience in that area.

It's had it's up and downs. When I am working, I love it because I love being on set. When I'm not working, I get stressed out about my financial security.

I gained a basic knowledge of File Maker Pro software and became proficient at using multiple shipping and receiving platforms; FedEX, UPS, USPS. I definitely learned a lot about what it means to be a liaison between several departments and vendors. My supervisors and co-workers were kind and a pleasure to work with. Through a variety of hands-on exercises and training sessions, participants learn the operation of Panavision, Arriflex, and other common 35mm cameras. Participants learn to "build" these cameras, load the magazines, and thread cameras.
