My supervisor in the Ministry of Education. He guided me to carry out projects independently.

- Lead "Intel - Teach to the Future", a nonprofit program in cooperation with Intel Education aiming at teacher's ICT education capacity building. Till now, over 1 million teachers in 31 provinces around China have been trained;
- Supervised the investigation and promotion of the National
Standard of Laboratory Construction with the assistance of Educational Equipment Research Institute (EERI);
- Oversaw the north China investigations for Modern Distance Learning Project for Rural Primary and Middle Schools, a national project with 15 billion RMB governmental and local investments;
- Drafted official documents and dealt with issues on educational techniques and equipment from among Political Consultative Conference (PCC) proposals.

How would you describe your time at beijing language university...?

My school is quite international, for many foreign students came here to learn Chinese. I have taught students from the US, south America, and Korean. Also I gave Intensive Reading and Listening courses for students majoring in French and devised test papers for them; I was a translator of a Mandarin textbook for foreigners, which was published in the U.S. too.
Concretely, I studied the relationship between language, culture and translation, and my final thesis is about a Chinese translator who had translated Shakespears works.
