Thinking about closing up business or opening part time with another job intergrated into this one. Presently just selling parts and no repair.

How would you describe your time at Viking Bag?

I did many things while I was there. They put me in the warehouse loading trucks. Glue man for making the glue for paper sacks. Then bailer wrapping sacks into bails. Then running the paper rolls though the machines to make sacks.

The job was okay. What really got to me after a while was the fact that I am not a big truck driver. This was back in the old days. My truck had no doors to cover the drinks up. If you turned the corner to fast. Then you would drop 3 to 6 cases of drinks out in the road.

How would you describe your time at Arkansas Extension Service?

This was a part time summer job in 1972 and 1973. Our team went around to different farms in our contract area. We checked the cotton for boll worms and boll weevil infestation. Then made reports on each cotton field we looked at. We worked with the farmers and gave our reports directly to them and recommened when to spray their cotton.... read more
