How would you describe your time at North Dakota State University?
Taught Calculus III, College Algebra, and Basic Linear Algebra. I was the sole instructor for these courses, and had a lot of leeway over how the courses were run.

How would you describe your time at North Dakota State University?
GraSUS is an NSF-funded 6--12 outreach program for the SMET (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology) disciplines (cf. http://www.ndsu.edu/grasus/about.htm). Twice per week, I travelled to an area high school to help a teacher with calculus and geometry projects. Also, I gave calculus lectures....

How would you describe your time at North Dakota State University?
Taught calculus recitations. I also taught two sections of Excel recitations--longer recitation sections for our more diligent (and mathematically mature) calculus students. In these Excel sections, students would collaborate on deep, challenging calculus problems. I also had an undergraduate TA assistant for these Excel sections....

How would you describe your time at North Dakota State University?
It was in graduate school where my love of mathematics took flight. I took challenging courses, further honed my ability as a teacher, and had my first experiences with mathematical research. In May, 2004, I graduated with a Ph.D. in Mathematics.

How would you describe your time at North Dakota State University?
After transferring from the University of North Dakota to NDSU in 1998, I took three semesters to finish my B.S. in Mathematics. During the first year at NDSU, I acclimated myself to the new environment and new school. My Teaching Assistantship began during my last semester as an undergraduate.

How would you describe your time at university of north dakota?
I spent the first three years of my undergraduate career in several majors before discovering my love of mathematics. In 1998, I transferred to North Dakota State University to finish up my Bachelor's degree and, ultimately, to obtain a Ph.D. in Mathematics.
