Empowering...I started at the company as a Pinkerton Officer and left a Professional Security Officer. The role as backup to Building Security Manager helped me to see the big picture of security services in the corporate arena. As a security officer I was also able to develop observational skills, report writing and interviewing skills. I attended both part-time and full-time. Once I was full-time I became a member of several student organizations. I was an active officer of the Student Dietetics Association. I felt my imput was important to help our organization blossom as an avenue for students to succeed.

Joanie is a hardworking, dedicated, and loyal individual. She also is a very caring person who is concerned about the well-being of others, both within the organization she is working for and outside it. In addition to handling her day-to-day duties, she was a valuable liaison with both the United Way and March of Dimes. At Malloy, she almost single-handedly established a "Printers Challenge" fundraising activity to help our company and several other printers raise money for the March of Dimes.
