How would you describe your time at Comscient Group?
A highly experienced, results oriented consultant, IT practitioner and IT analyst/industry specialist, and entrepreneur with strong business acumen.
I am the founder/owner of Comscient Group and a technology and strategic research consultant. I lead Comscient Group providing consulting services to clients. My clients have included top tier global and niche strategy and management consulting firms, top tier and niche venture capital and private equity firms, top tier global and other technology end-users, and top tier global and start-up technology providers.
Much of what I do is help clients make informed and pragmatic best decision choices. This is achieved by guiding clients through a disciplined and systematic process informed by research and analysis focusing on facts supplemented by independent expert opinion and counsel supporting high stakes decision making, technology or vendor due diligence, or business planning, strategic planning, resource planning, technology investment or application planning, or sales or marketing planning, as the situation requires.
The service I provide to clients helps them locate and make informed choices about or based on resources ranging from talent, vendors, business intelligence, specialized services, investment opportunities, sales opportunities, strategic alliances, software solutions, market research, and business partners.
My specialty is technology related business decision making. I work with technology vendors to make better strategic, and sales and marketing decisions. I Work with technology end-users to make better technology investment planning and technology buying decisions. And I Work with venture investors to locate and decide on investment and buy-out opportunities.
In most cases I am assisting clients to make high stakes, high value but also potentially high risk decisions in which they need to be clear and thorough in thinking through the choices they will make and fully identify and understand both the upsides and the downsides of the choices available to them. This enables my clients to make the best, most informed and pragmatic decision choices while mitigating the potential risks that could be known at the time. Not only does this result in more reliable successful decision making for my clients but also means that their decisions are much better able to withstand close scrutiny if brought into question later.
