In a broadcast television environment, I maintained all desktop and server systems, and serviced proprietary systems such as Grass Valley, AP and Avid. As a network administrator and deskside support technician, I maintained a network consisting of twelve servers, eighty-five workstations, and 6 remote users over two locations, and was on-call 24/7. I also maintained backup systems, supported SQL databases and Lab Information Management systems. I maintained older computer equipment and kept it in working order, reducing the need for major expenditures over the years. I also provided training in the areas of Email (Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook) and Windows applications to all current and new employees (some of which had no previous computer experience), saving the company thousands of dollars in training costs....
