How would you describe your time at Improv?
My job was to coordinate the show to ensure that it ran smoothly and on schedule. I was a one-man band in the sound booth running sound, light, and music while announcing the comedian. As well as dropping sound and light cues requested by the comedians.
During the show time-management was a key element in keeping it running smoothly. Too do so, I communicated with the comedian on stage via light and hand signals.
Live entertainment has many variables, any of which can go wrong especially when there is not a rehearsal. I found that being aggressive, focused, and aware I was able to use my skills effectively and efficiently....
