How would you describe your time at Grocers Supply?
Hired on with company as a "Selector" and duties included:
Hand selecting items on a barrett machine and stacking on pallet.
Given time restraints for completing each bill and had to reach a 95% quota.
I was able to meet and maintain my 95% or better quota and after working two
months I was promoted to "Truck Loader" and these duties include:
Operating dock jeep (forklift)
Obtaining and maintaining certification for opening machinery and following safety guidelines.
Responsible for trailers being loaded before dispatch time.
Responsible for making sure every item on load is loaded onto the trailer.
Completing trip sheet and various paper work involved for the load and submitting at least 30 minutes before dispatch time.
Organize and clean work area to keep it neat and professional.
After successfully working as a "Truck Loader" I was promoted to a "Forklift Operator."
Given time restraints for completing each pallet and must reach a 95% quota.
I have met and maintained my 95% quota while working productively and safely.
Responsible for running pallets from one warehouse to another.
Responsible for placing pallets in pick slots in order for the selectors to pull the merchandise.
In my current position, I m routinely faced with many time constraints and deadlines and have not had a problem with such situations. I readily pitch in where needed to help my fellow co-workers meet their quota. By helping others, the company benefits as well as employees by building great working relationships....

Worked construction and prepared materials for bricklayer.

Used cement cutter to make cuts to cinder blocks.
