How would you describe your time at simonpure bodycare?
I moved to Seattle and found few opportunities in corporate communications, so I started a small bodycare manufacturing company out of a hobby. With my background in marcom I knew how to develop an appealing branding program for my company. I sold my products at the historic Pike Place Market in Seattle, as well as in many shops and health food stores across the country, including Whole Foods Market. While I was fairly successful in this endeavor, my heart wasn't really into it. I folded the company and relaunched my career search in corporate and employee communications....

How would you describe your time at CVS?
I began working for CVS as a free-lance writer/producer for a 20-minute news magazine program that was distributed to employees throughout the company. I was later hired on as manager of employee communications, and served in a leadership position of four others in the employee communications dept. I continued to write and produce the news magazine program, as well as broadcast training programs for store employees, pharmacists and field management personnel. I worked with a company newsletter editor to write and produce the monthly company magazine and other print materials. I created all communications and training tools for a major company-wide roll out of a new POS check-out system. I also created and produced broadcast and print materials for the company-wide launch of a new pharmacy work flow system. To produce my work, I relied on a teams of internal and outside creative professionals who helped me realize our internal clients' needs and goals. Our primary charge was to maintain the company's branding, mission and values to employees, using exemplary employees to tell this story to peers. Our work garnered on-going praise from all levels of management, from store and field employees and industry press....
