Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

My most influential mentor hired me for my first job out of library school. She was, and is, an incredibly dynamic person who believed I could do great things, and then helped show me the way. She taught me that as long as you're trying, you're never failing. The worst regrets are the things you never attempted....
