How would you describe your time at Star's Edge Avatar?

This is my own small business, basically. I am liscensed to coach Avatar by Star's Edge. I help people to help themselves by guiding them through amazing exercises that help them unclutter their mind and its beliefs, and then create the life they want to live. It's the greatest gift I can give another person, in my opinion: self-respect and self-reliance. It's on-going training for myself, as well - I learn so much about myself through others' lessons, and, literally, also, there's a few annual training events. It's an amazing course to build my integrity, my objectivity, and my humanity skills.... read more

How would you describe your time at Encore Nationwide, MarketOn...?

It's actually three different companies, but all the same line of independent contractor work. With Encore, I've worked with AT&T and Wii-Fit(Nintendo), as well as sampled for Axe. MarketOne Group promotions consist of independently sampling alcoholic beverages to consumers at retail and venue locations. TriplePlay, I've worked casting calls. The variety, flexibility, independence, and fun consumer-interaction are my favorite parts of promo-modeling.... read more

How would you describe your time at JPS Holdings?

Absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed selling a service that switched people's households over to clean, efficient, renewable electricity. The sales experience was great, the interaction with people was fun, and hiring new employees is always interesting.

How would you describe your time at Brashear Prop's?

I adored working at a commercial realtor's company, since I've always been interested in real estate investing. I learned about the effect of commercial real estate on the city planning and zoning, as well as the school district's, put together market trend brochures/e-newsletters, designed marketing material, managed commercial rentals, and helped maintain a large database of an entire city's real estate transaction records. It was great!... read more

How would you describe your time at Sigma Mortgage?

Being a licensed loan officer was a valuable learning experience. It taught me that I'd rather be on the investing side of things than the servicing side. Kidding aside, the knowledge I gained is invaluable; it continues to be useful years later, and really built a solid foundation under my financial-understanding-tool-belt. It is what got me hooked on economic structures and anything finance related.... read more

How would you describe your time at Global College of Natural M...?

I love this online college, and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend working independently on the materials. They cover all the bases of holistic health and well-being, and are endorsed by Dr. Andrew Weil, of whom I have a great deal of respect.

How would you describe your time at austin community college?

I love ACC - they're class sizes are perfect, and it's fantastic that I've had a few University of Texas Professors for a community college price. That alone is priceless to me. I have had so many memorable experiences in classes here, and have had the freedom to take a wide variety of classes, keeping me well-rounded, yet still able to fit them into a degree plan, because they worked with me. Since I've taken all the classes I'm most interested in, I've reaped the most benefits from them!... read more

How would you describe your time at Colorado Mountain College?

Finishing up my high school diploma a semester early at CMC was the best decision I ever made. I graduated with 12 college credits, which earned me a scholarship for my first semester of college, which I moved to Austin, TX for. The classes were small and amazing quality. It set a really good tone for the rest of my college experience.... read more
